Convention & Exhibition Business - Market Trends
The 34th Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and the 4th International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show were held at AsiaWorld-Expo and Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre respectively. The twin shows featured a record of 4,480 exhibitors from 53 countries and regions, and attracted over 85,000 buyers from 144 countries and regions. Events such as jewellery craftsmanship demonstration, product trends seminars and jewellery parades were organised.
The 43rd edition of the HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair featured a record of more than 2,100 exhibitors from 42 countries and regions, including newcomers from Bangladesh, Bulgaria and Denmark. A comprehensive range of product categories from traditional toys to high-tech games and STEM toys were showcased in a total of 16 themed zones. Hong Kong Baby Products Fair held concurrently attracted 540 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions. Innovative products that make a baby's life saver, easier and more fun were demonstrated.
The sixth Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference brought more than 70 leading speakers in the related sectors in this two-day event. The largest of its kind in Asia, the conference drew some 2,000 participants from 34 countries and regions. The highlight was the first plenary session exploring opportunities from China’s Belt and Road Initiative. 109 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions took part in the conference which featured three distinctive zones: e-logistics, logistics services, and shipping and maritime services.
