Competition in Robotic Intelligence - Global Manufacturers Throw Money at AI

Innovations in robotics technology are focused on developments surrounding human-robot cooperation, machine learning, simulating human operational agility, intelligent sensing, and artificial intelligence. Google, Microsoft, Baidu, Softbank, Facebook and other global manufacturers are spending huge sums of money to expand their research on, and acquisitions of, artificial intelligence (AI). As computing capacity increases, recognition technology makes breakthroughs, and real-time data as generated by IoT becomes big data, the development of robotic artificial intelligence is experiencing a new wave of enthusiasm.
